Ipod touch has white screen. Forgot Ipod passcode. Remove Ipod password.

August 16, 2011

If you have a white screen and the Ipod isnt really doing anything, you can hold down the power buton, the home button, and the volume down button (on left side) all at once. This should reset it and get you back up and running without having to plug it into itunes.

If you forgot your passcode and need to remove it, this is what you need to do.

1. Connect the Ipod to itunes.

2. Hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for 10 seconds, then let go of the power button and continue to hold the home button for 10 seconds.

3. Now just restore the Ipod by clicking restore. Be sure to update it as well when it prompts.

If you have any questions just email me or post a comment. ENJOY

it says “iTunes could not connect to the iPod “iPod touch” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes… I can’t see my passcode because the screen is white..what can i do about it?

    • Plug into itunes and hold home button and power button for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds let go of the power button and contunue to hold the home button. This should allow you to restore it. When i replace screens i usually get white screens and this is what i have to do. It may take 2 or 3 tries. Good luck, let me know.

  2. hi i have same problems but my button doesnt work and i have a code so what i have to do then?
